This picture is proof that Colin can actually stand without holding on to anything. He just usually refuses to try.

Vegas, Baby
Sunday morning we woke up and packed up yet again. Before we left St. George, Ethan had the dogs do a few last tricks for him. Notice that Murphy is looking at Erin for guidance. She would mouth the command after Ethan said it, but Ethan thought he was totally in charge. Erin even got him to pet both dogs, which is unusual since he's usually scared of dogs (and cats). All through the day he kept saying, "I miss those dogs." Personally, I miss Max and Erin and Chris.
We stopped by Jason's grandparents' house again to say goodbye, then grabbed some In-N-Out before heading down to Las Vegas. As soon as we pulled in to town we went to the shark reef at Mandalay Bay. The boys loved it.
We stayed with Jason's cousin Josh and Josh's wife, Rachel. They barbecued and invited over Jason's aunt Karen, uncle Rick, and cousin Julie. His other cousin Jake (and wife Rocio) even stopped by on their way home from the hospital so we could see their brand-new baby girl. She's tiny and adorable. We spent the night at Josh and Rachel's and had a great time. (Even though the Sox lost.) Ethan and their daughter Maddie totally hit it off and disappeared upstairs for hours. They had a sleepover in Maddie's room, and I don't know what time they actually finally fell asleep.
